Trinseo is taking action to protect human health, as well as continuity of operations. Regional and Global Crisis Management Teams are operating and numerous actions are underway.
These actions include strict adherence to applicable legal requirements in the jurisdictions in which we operate, as well as adherence to science-based guidelines from public health authorities, including the Center for Disease Control (CDC). Trinseo facilities have implemented Trinseo pandemic response, reporting and notification, quarantine and recovery plans worldwide, which are risk based and location specific and which in many cases may be more stringent than local requirements.
These standards may include but are not limited to procuring protective equipment such as masks for our employees, extra cleaning, employee training, screening procedures for essential employees and visitors, mask requirements, travel restrictions, social distancing requirements, use of video conferencing, flexible/remote work for those who can work remotely, reduced building capacity requirements, reducing visitors to essential staff, and use of video conferencing in lieu of personal meetings and other measures to promote safety.
