With our acquisition in 2017 of API Applicazioni Plastiche Industriali S.p.A. in Mussolente, Italy, Trinseo expanded its product portfolio to include soft-touch polymers. We have more than 60 years of experience in the development and production of customized solutions with TPE technology for a broad, worldwide customer base, including a range of bioplastics. Our materials for medical applications are available as medical and skin contact approved, with biocompatibility testing support, and also as food contact certified. Properties range from soft and opaque to rigid and transparent. Our RAPLAN™ material is often selected as an alternative to a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) containing material.
