Optical and Weathering Properties
PLEXIGLAS® acrylic resins offer outstanding optical properties, affording one of the highest spectral transmissions in the plastic industry.

Spectral transmission
PLEXIGLAS® acrylic resins are naturally water-like in appearance and exhibit high transmission with low haze.
Refractive indices
PLEXIGLAS® acrylic resin is often used as a glass replacement and conveniently its refractive indices are relatively close to those of glass.
Weathering properties
PLEXIGLAS® acrylic resins remain virtually unchanged after long-term exposure during both accelerated and real-time weathering.
