RAPLAN™ Compounds
Trinseo’s RAPLAN™ TPS materials are semi-rigid and transparent and ideal when a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) substitute is required.
RAPLAN™ offers a wide melt flow range. The material is halogen free, sterilizable, and resistant to a variety of cleaning agents.
Main technical characteristics of RAPLAN™ TPS-SBS Compounds are:
- Good hardness range: 20 ShA – 50 ShD
- Food contact approved (10/2011/EU, FDA)
- Special MED grades for medical applications (ISO 10993 – USP VI)
- Optimum resistance to low temperatures
